Did you ever get this problem resolved? I am having the same problem. Thanks!

No I have never resloved this problem. Now I get a msg that says, "Media is Forgien, backup aborted".

Go figure. I have cleaned the heads with the cleaning tape and still I have the same problem.

So I just bought a new backup drive and I'm going to install it this week.

If anyone has any thoughts, please post.

thanks,

That's what I did too, but not having any luck. Thinking may have to replace tape drive.

Suggestions are welcome :)

Thanks!
