Backup Failers

I have a CCMS 6.0 I'am try'ing to back up the data,when I run the backup it starts then it says it failed.
I look at the the back up log and it says that.
07/11/05 15:27:05 - Starting backup of 'SCCS_Database' to device 'PrimaryServerTape...
This database backup has errors and warnings.
07/11/05 15:27:15 - The backup of 'SCCS_Database' failed.
I checked the alarm monitor and I have an event code of 51173 which means that its unable to backup database.
Unable to start to start sybasebackup server for remote for remote backup.

If anybody has any ideas I could use the help.

Make sure you set the user account and password for the CCM MAS Backup/restore service is set to the NgenSys account and whatever password that account uses.

You also need to create a user account on the server with admin rights and then create the same account on the remote system where the backup will be going if you are doing network backup. You will also need to grant full control for that account on the destination folder.

If you are doing tape backups, the service setup step should fix your issue.
