Backup failed without errors 2

Hi,

We have a weird problem with Brightstor 9.0.

The backup says it is failed but when we look in jobs and logs there is no error or what so something like that. When we try to restore the backup it works fine.

Is here someone who might know what can be the problem why the backup said it is Failed?

Is your logging set up correctly?

yes, we first had a minimum log but now we log everything and still no error what can be usefull to find the problem.

We use scratch sets to backup. Maybe that is a problem? but where to look for that we don't know...

have a look to the events logs and if there are any drwatson or exception... If you have, you should contact CA support.

set the job engine log type to "debug" and see what happens in log.
