Backup failed with error a000e380

I have installed Backup Exec 9.0.4454 + Agent for Lotus Domino. On server (windows2000srv+sp4...) runs 2 Domino servers ver.5.0.12: first run with d:\notes\data\, second in d:\notes\data2\. notes.ini files are located in those directories. Backup job included all nsf files d:\notes\data\ and d:\notes\data2\ failed. Backup d:\notes\data\ - OK, all files in d:\notes\data2\ were backuped but nsf file in subfolders d:\notes\data2\ was not backuped... Here is log: The item MAIL|D:\notes\data2\help\readme.nsf in use - skipped. This database is currently being used by someone else. In order to share a Notes database, all users must use a Domino Server instead of a File Server. And job history: Error category : Resource Errors Error code : a000e380 HEX Error description : An error occured during backup. Please check the job log for more information...

Any new info on the error you reported above? I am having the same error, BE v9.1 rev.4691

Hi,

in the backup job do you backup filesystems aswell?
If you do try creating an own job just for the Domino agent.

Backup Exec's Notes Agent has trouble handling multi partition Notes servers. They have attempted to fix the problem in the 10.0 release. You might want to upgrade or split your Domino installations onto different servers.
