Backup failed error messages

Hi all,

Does anyone ever encounter the following error messages:

2 retries attempted
nsrexec: authtype nsrexec
savefs: RPC error: Unable to receive
savefs: cannot retrieve client resources


Current I am running Networker 6.2 on a Win2K server, the client which gave me above error messages also a NT server with Networker 6.2 client version installed.
This is the first time I saw this error after the mentioned client being successfully backup for more than 3 weeks.

Please help.

Hi all,

The problem was resolved.
Solution:

Enter all the clients hostname and IP together with whatsoever hostname alias to the Networker Server host file.
