Backup Failed but everything seems ok

Why do I sometimes get a failed backup reported in the Job Monitor even though the backup has backed up everything fine? There are a few skipped 'in use' files, but that happens in the Successful backups too.... so what exactly is it that has failed?

p.s. In my experience this isn't a version dependent problem, but just in case, we're using Backup Exec 8.5 on NT Server 4 and using Remote Agents to backup Servers across the network.

Wehave seen this, if you look closely in the Backup Exec log file, what we have seen is an "access denied" to a particular file that Backup Exec was trying to back up, this will produce a "failed" backup, even thought everything else was backed up fine.

I get this too, I dont mind if it thinks the job failed, But It puts the job on hold after that and I have jobs scheduled. ?~?~?
