Backup Exec job will not ABort

My active job, will not abort, keeps running, abort pending, but now 83 hours, any idea's on forcing this job to stop, so I can get on with my scheduled backup jobs, Backup 8.0, win 2000 Server,Sony ATI autoloaders..

And I have the same problem on win2K server, BackupExec v8.5 and services won't stop. I have to reboot. Is there no other way?

Sometimes you have to stop the services in a certain order. If a particular BE service will not shut down then try another BE service. If any do shut down then go back to the one's that did not and try again.

My "Abort" is hanging on a Netware 5.0 server, how can I break out with out downing the server?
