backup exec for netware 8.5 windows 2000 agent - does it exist ?

Is there a Windows 2000 agent for Backup Exec for Netware 8.5 ?. I have tried running the Windows NT agent on the Windows 2000 workstation, but Backup Exec on our Netware Server cannot see the workstation.

If there is no agent as yet, is there any other means of solving this problem ?.

The old agent will not work with 8.5. The netware agent is a separate buy option.

Hi,

I have the 8.5 agent running on Windows 2000. I got it from the Veritas CD. Just install the console, not the whole thing again. Hope this helps.

Can you explain in more detail what you did that got the plain WinNT agent from 8.5 working?
