I have been working on a problem with Backup exec. The backups are failing because of a mailbox in exchange that it can not access it. I all ready tried giving admin's and also exchange admin rights. The mailbox has a name of a question mark or ?.

The OS I am running is windows 2000 with exchange 2000.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried logging in as the backup admin account and running a backup of that mailbox, I've read that to backup all mailboxes the backup should be created logged in as the backup account - although this isn't necessary in my limited experience

I'm not using Exchange 2000 I'm afraid but 5.5 on Exchange 2000.

Cheers
Guy
