Backup Exec and SQL 2000

I am running Backup Exec 8.5 and Windows 2000 on backup server. All machines that I am backing up have Windows 2000. I am doing direct database backups with no problems on machines running SQL 7.0. However, I can't see the SQL databases in the Backup Exec interface for those servers running SQL 2000.

Has anyone seen this?

Do you have the SQL server add on type agent installed? "Gonna have a drink, walk around, gotta lot to think about."

Make sure that you have the right SQL Agent. There is one for 7.0 and a seperate one for SQL 2000
