Backup exec 8.6 fails and ejects tape.

Error: AlerterServer Failed to successfully log on to MAPI with profile and password given.

I recieve the above error in my event viewer. I have Backup exec 8.6 trial version right now. The backups were going fine until a couple of day ago. I have 12/20 tape drive and it almost finishes but when it gets to the end it just fails for some reason and ejects the tape. Does anyone one know how to fix this.

Are you getting a "Media Mount Failed" Message?

I am having the same problem. I am using Seagate Backup exec V 7.0. The job will run about 13.7 gb (on a 12/24 tape w/hardware/software compression enabled) then eject the tape. In the past the error message has been "Media mount failed"
