Backup Exec 8.5 w/ Autoloader on Novell 4.11

We have installed an HP Surestore DLT 1/9 Autoloader on one of our Novell 4.11 servers. I have installed the Autoloader Option from Backup Exec. However, Backup Exec still does not recognize it as an autoloader. I can backup to it, but only to one drive. When I go to create a new partition in Backup Exec, the drives show as "Chained". Anyone have any ideas?

I resolved my autoloader problem yesterday after working on it for the past week. I found a really helpful document on Veritas web site. Although the document is for NT & 2000 it might be worth a look.

I resolved this error myself -- that autoloader does not support LUN..I removed the LUN statement from the AUTOEXEC.NCF, and disabled it in the SCSI BIOS. I also needed to update to build 194 of BackupExec 8.5. I have extensive documentation on all my steps...please contact me if interested.
