Backup Exec 7 on NT 4.0 Server fails

Nothing has changed on the server in quite some time. Nt 4.0 Server.

When you run either a manual backup OR the daily scheduled backup, it acts like it is going to run, and then says Device Paused. We have tried different media as well.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

hey thanks for the reply, even though its been over a year and I have bought a different solution, new server system, and windows 2000 server.

We had this on a restore and we found that on the restore page, general tab, it was choosing a device (tape drive) that didn't exist and was listed as off line. Once we set it to choose the correct tape drive, it worked.
