BACKUP EXEC 12 AND QUANTUM I2000 LIBRARY

I currently have two media servers running win 2k3 hooked to an i2000 library. These work fine. I am trying to hook up a 3rd media server but can't get the library to come up properly in device manager. It comes up as medium changer and then under that I get the quantum scalar i2k but it has a yellow letter i. So of course, until this problem gets cleared, backupexec won't see the library. Does anyone have experience with this?

You have to tell the library to present itself to the WWN of the hba in your new server.

Go into Setup>Device>Access>FC Hosts in the ADIC console select the WWN of the new server then click on Lun Mapping.

Should be able to figure it out from there.

That was perfect, once I changed the LUN mapping, the device came up properly right away.
