Hi, we have recently bought a new Server with MS Storage Server 2003 SP1 pre-installed and are trying to install Backup Exec 11D on it. when we run the setup, it gives an error saying ' you have installed MS Data protection manager on this computer and are trying to install BE Media server on it, which is not supported'. You then are forced to exit the setup.
Although we have MS Data Protection Manager installed but we have not configured it yet (so we are not using it either). Can we uninstall it and then install BE on it? Would it mess up with the RAID Array (we configured RAID 5 through HP RAID Array Manager though). I am asking just to make sure that our Data will be safe after uninstallation of MS Data Protection Mgr.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Regards,
Zotigo
