Backup Exec 11d and multiple tape drives

I have installed a secondary tape drive into an off site DR server. Windows is happy with the secondary drive but Bu Exec doesnt see it, should I reinstall Backup Exec, or is there a simpler way? BTW #1 is a dat72, and the secondary is a DLT.

Did you install the latest Symantec Tape drivers?

That was my next thought...at the time I didnt have the cd with me...

Have you tried to disable the tape (peripheral nsa-in, into Computer Management)?
