Backup exec 10d and notes

Hi all,

Just had backup exec 10d installed. All was working well untill last night when one of the jobs that are setup to backup my notes server skipped every single mailbox. The notes server has domino agent installed and has previously backup the directory.

Every file was skipped and the jod was hung on backing up a file in the system 32.

Not sure the reason for this? any ideas?

Hi Burnzdog,

If you have the time to research the problem then try and suss it out, personally I'll bet its a jar file or something which is open or in use by some other process.
Drill down to this selection in job backup properties and deselect it at the lowest possible level.
I consider Backup exec as a DATA backup tool I've never successfully restored a server with it so I exclude all problem files over time.
