Backup Exec 10 backing up an Exchange server

I installed the exchange license on the media server along with the other options, like AOFO and Remote agent. I've been looking for the Backup service for exchange and can't find it running on the media server or the Exchange server.

What am I doing wrong?

Just push out a windows remote agent to the exchnage box and thats it.
When you browse out to the exchange server you shold see the Exchange Agent option and be able to select the IS and mailboxes.

I've done that and I don't see the exchange agent on the exchange server. Not sure what I've done wrong.

What version of Exchange? WHen you goto help/about in Backup Exec and license - Does it say Exchange 2000 agent or Exchange Agent

It says Exchange agent.

Assuming your running 9.x and the exchange server is 2000/2003 then you have the wrong exchange license installed.
Thats only for Exchange 5.5
