Hi all,
ebackoffice 7.2, efrontoffice
we have a production server, and a backup server. On both servers we have the databases
ebocontrol
eboconsol (a company db)
ebodata (a company db)
efo72 (a frontoffice db)
what i want to do is have another database on the backup server and set it up like
zebocontrol
zeboconsol (a company db)
zebodata (a company db)
zefo72 (a frontoffice db)
and be able to use sql backup to refresh our production server to the 'z' database on test server
I found a doc on the epicor answerbook that tells me how to do it if the two databases are the same name , but not when they have different names.
I have changed the zebocontrol tables smcomp,ewcomp,s2papprg and masterlst and the master table masterlst, but when i login to the backoffice zebocontrol/zebodata via the client, it doesn't matter which module i access, i get the error
Database error 916, server user xxxxx is not a valid user in database ebocontrol
I can only think that there is still a link somewhere pointing to the original control database . .
so - anyone have a cheat sheet that can help me out ?
all the best
jeff
