Hi,

When i try to backup the job will not run. Instead is goes on status: DONE without doing anything.

I tried it with a scheduled job and a job created by hand. It doesn't matter.

Restores are working okee.

I cant't find anything in the logs.

Hi
1-Stop the Job Engine
2-go to Arcserve path and find the folder 0000001.qsd
3-Renamed the 0000001.qsd directory
4-restarted the job engine,Arcserve will create a new folder
with the same name 0000001.qsd
5-Recreated your jobs again

This should solve your problem

mohamdr

Thanx. Tried your solution but it didn't work. Stil the same problem.

There's even no log for the job created after starting the job....

Hi
from start menu menu go to server admin and put the job Engine
to Debug,

when your right click on the job and select ready is the job is get executed or the same it just show it as done.

check are there any errors info related to this matter in Activity log.

regards,
mohamdr

The job gets executed. It becomes status READY and then immidiately DONE again.

Mmm mayby try the SP4.

Tonight i try a reboot of the server.

How can i see if SP4 is already installed? My college says it is already on the server.

Hi
Because you tOld the build is 1086 this build for SP3
The build os SP4 is 1100 ,check support.cai.com Compability Matrix
I think if you apply sp4 your problem is going to be solved.

Last night we restarted the server.... problem solved!

Now we will never know what the problem was. I think it's better to install SP4 for Arcserve. Thanks for your help all :)
