Backup Analysis

My backup scope has suddenly shot up and I don't know why. I don't really want to trawl through my daemon.log and consolodate all the backup sets for every week to get a trend but I can't find any software that does this fairly simple yet hugely time saving task.

I am told that Legato can't do this job for you is this correct?

Failingt his can anyone recommened a 3rd party tool which will provide this sort info?
