Hello,

I have problem with my arcserver v9.0
The backup finish with the state "no complete":
I have an error: backup agent error --(366) : failed to open a folder.
I have stop and start the arcserve's services and the backup agent RPC server.

Have you an idea for my problem???

regards,

Cedric

Looks like the backup failed to access a directory and so the job was marked as incomplete.

It seems that you have to upgrade your Arcserve with the latest service pack 5. I've had the same problem and an upgrade with service pack 5 (to build version 1110)resolved it.

Succes!

HI,

Looks like u might be having an issue with one of your public folders(just guessing.. as u have not mentioned here)

Make sure that the account you use to backup the brick level have atleast "reviewer" ("owner" would be best) priveleges.

If that still fails..create a new public folder.. copy the contents of the problem public folder into the new one..

run a backup of this new folder.. if all seems ok.. delete the problem folder..

If you get this error while backin up a user mailbox.. there could be a possible corruption on that mailbox..

So it Shall be Written!
So it Shall be Done!!

Hi..

Had the same problem, after some tests, it seem that the length of a folder's name must not exceed 125 characters, after reducing the lenght to 125 characters, the problem was solve.

Hope it help's you
