Backing Up To Online Storage

Howdy folks. Looking for a way to reduce file restoration time from tape. Can anyone tell me if I can use Brightstor 11.1 to back up to from one server to another w/o going to tape first? If so, how do I create a device, or do I?

ARCserve calls it a FSD File System Device. Check the Admin guide and help file for details.

ARCserve 11.5 is better as it supports Disk staging where you can back up to disk and use a policy like after 30 mins after backup copy the backup disk device to the locally attached tape device.

Thanks Guys! That is totally cool. It worked just as advertised. Is there any way of cutting the time it takes to backup to FSD? It seemed to take a long time. I was hoping to cut my backup times by storing online.
