I have Backup Exec 8.5 loaded on a NT 4.0 server in domain1. I have another server I wish to backup several shared folders in domain2. I have established a trust relationship between the two domains. When I go to the backup wizard and try to schedule a backup job I am unable to see any of the shared folders on the server in domain2 but I am able to see all the shared folders on my nt workstation which is also in domain2. I am new to Backup Exec so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Backing up Server on different domain

For backing up an other server with Be8.5 you need to buy a Backup Exec remote agent and install it on the other server. I had the same problem.
You don't need a remote agent for backing up workstations
