Backing up Outlook Express

Hello to all, I am a newbie...

My question is..."is there a way to quickly save all of my email messages, sent items and received items, to my computer so that I can free up space in my Outlook?"

Any help would be great.

Outlook Express is on your computer. What makes you think that you need to 'free up space'? I'm hesitant to answer without knowing if there's some sort of problem.
 
I thought that there was a limit for the amount of mail that you can have in Outlook Express, and wanted to make sure that I freed up as much space as possible.

Maybe I don't need to worry about it, I just know that I can't afford to delete many of these emails, and would like a back-up copy of them.

 
Well, there are functional limitations, but when it comes to saved mail messages, people have wildly varying ideas of what is 'a lot' or 'too much'. Short of saving each message individually, there's no way to do this built into OE. Here's some good backup information that will help to safeguard data loss:
