We have an old E10 running V3R2. We are trying to avoid buying more tapes for its old drive, and manning the shop while it backs up as it needs two tapes on its old tape drive. This system is mostly for archive only, so I would like to back up the files that may change daily to another system, then just do a backups on the weekends. It only has a SNA connection to one other system running v4r3. I have been told i can back it up over the SNA network, but have not found how yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

u may use sna distribution service
workactjob and check the QSNADS subsystem
it uses appc/appn network configuration

In order to do this, would I have to save to a savf, then move it via sndnetf? I was hoping there was a way to back it up to a savf directly on the other system. Any ideas?
