Hi,

I am trying to backup a mount point, c:\clusterstorage

I have ticked Cross Mount Points and specified the above mount point in the backup selection both with c:\clusterstorage and c:\clusterstorage\* (as I was told by Symantec support).

When I backup without the * all I get is c:\clusterstorage and when i backup with the * I get nothing. Either way I nothing under the mount point is getting backed up. In bpbkar on the client I can see that netbackup sees the 2 subfolders but doesn't backup anything. Also to test we also put a txt file into c:\clusterstorage and even that doesn't get backed up.

Can anyone help? Please? :)
Thanks,
Chris

Hi,
No there are no excludes and it's version 7.0.1 running on Linux.

Hate to sound stupid....Is this client a Windows machine and that's C:\ drive or is it a NFS mount? The Linux master you're on my be reading the "\" as a quote. Can you change the name of the mount point you're exporting to exclude the colon and backslash and test the new one?
