All,

I used to backup my NAS shares (CIFS) as mapped drives on a windows 2000 advanced server (client).

The admin of that server recently upgraded that server to a Windows 2003 Server SP2 and Netbackup no longer recognizes the mapped drives.

Instead, I have had to start using UNC Paths.

I would like to start taking advantage of 'Synthetic' backups, however, that functionality does not appear to be supported when using UNC path.

Any guidance would be appreciated!
