I am wanting to back-up (protect) the data that is currently programmed into a Norstar with rls 4.0 software. How do i do this?

I have looked at various Norstar manuals and really don't see anything the seems to pertain to any info on backing up the programming.

If I remember correctly you go into admin (F983) and the code is 22 or 33.This only backs up the Voice mail boxes and the AA.

Thanks for the reply.

What does it back-up the data to?

What I would like to do is create a back-up of the data base for the phone system and the VM to either an external device.

The VM backs up to floppys. And you need a RAD(Remote access device)Connected to the Norstar and the remote utilities program to back up the system (phone) programing,to a pc with floppys or a cd burner.

You need norstar manager and a RAD to back up your system to a pc go to Nortel web and you can get the software there. Now I do not know if the system supports backups I'm trying to get an answer from someone here about the same thing the systems that I'm working on are DR5 software realease after this can be backed up easily with the tool.
