I just tried to listen to background music via feature 86, and it said it's not available. is this possible for me to turn on somehow without having to re-wire anything?

did you check to see if you have it turned on in capabilities for that particular set. Also that same music source is for you're music on hold and also needs to be turn in system programing.

I don't think our installer turned it on in the system - possible that i could do it? Scott Cybak

Here is a test that you can run. Call yourself and place it on hold, do you a beeping Tone or silience?
If a beeping tone is heard than it is because the feature was not set in programming. Jeter@LasVegas.com
