I have a CS1000M(Rls 4.0) and I have connected a music source using a Miran card.Is there a way that I can use this music source for background music sets connected to the system.

I am using IP sets (i2002,i2004.)

That is what i am doing now, however when a calls comes in the music get cut off and the user has to dial the access code again.what I am looking for is to make the music permanent.

Also when using that music source you are eating up your resources for customers. When put on hold they may get silence because all ports are in use.

There is nothing like that feature you are wanting on any PBX that I am aware of. The only system I know does this is the Norstar.

If wired correctly you can connect it to your overhead paging and it will cut out when a page is made.
