background image in a <TD>

It's possible to include a Background image inside a cell of a table in NS4?
i need it, because i have an image with a width of 1 pixel and i want to repeat the image for the width of the cell...

Dear Desperados:

I was having the same problem as you a few weeks ago: I tried to use a 1 x n image and let it repeat as a background image in a table. The problem is: Netscape under version 6 has a little bug (I think it's a bug, anyway): You must make your images at least 32 x 11 in size (in my experience). This could probably be decreased, but that would be your choice in taking the trouble to find a different, smaller value.

As long as your image is simple or uses few colors, you should be fine.
