Maybe you should try some Anti Trojan Software.
Virus Scanners have a limited ability to handle trojans or worms, their main task is virus scanning. That said, "SOME" of the more common trojans or worms "MIGHT" show up in a virus scan.
Again your Spyware programs if updated offer "SOME" protection against Trojans.
For total protection (if there is such a thing) I recommend this site as a start in improving your security against trojans and worms.
