Hi,

I've worked on DR5 & MICS (basic MAC), but I've never attempted back-up or admin using a laptop.

1) I'd like to learn how an MICS can be backed up to my laptop for disaster recovery...

... and ...

2) How can I use my laptop (windows xp) to perform admin on the MICS? I'm assuming I'll need some sort of interface software - where can I obtain this?

I thank you for all your input in advance!

You need NRU - Norstar Remote Utilities software for the PC/laptop and a RAD - Remote Access Device hooked up to the KSU.
Look for NRU manual as its a good read and not nearly as simple as Callpilot.

thank you curly cord, if I may...

there is a RAD device in a box on site (obviously not connected to the system) how does this integrate to the MICS?

... and ...

where can I get the NRU software & NRU manual?

Thanks again!
