Hello.
I wondered if anyone can help me. I have an NT server (sp6a) running arcserve 6.61. I do a back up and then restore the whole lot to an W2k Server and only half the stuff appears ( after waiting 26 hours for it to do so, 20gb) although the actual backup of the data was a full backup with no errors why does it not restore the whole lot?
To test I picked one folder which did not restore (it appears in the restore tree) and restored it to the w2K server (sp2) it says that the restore is successful and the number of MB restored is correct ( actually there is a few MB more !?!)but it is not on the w2k server. How can it say that it has restored successfully when it has not? All the updates have been done on the arcserve 6.61.
As a further test I backed it up using a win2k server that has Arcserve 2k sp3 on it and the same thing happened backup successful and restore successful but no folder appears where is should have been found.
Any help on this would be great, as far as I am concerned I do not have a decent backup right now.
