Back up 99 percent finished

I am new to Back up Exec, and wondered why the back up progress bar is on 99 percent and has been every night i have run it.
when i goto the log it says that it is completed , but i am not sure, and if i look at the sheduled history it says its running but i am sure its not. maybe its stuck or got another configuration problem
any help appreciated

What sort of tape drive do you have? I have a DLT drive here that needs to be manually opened. Any job running on it waits at 99% until you open the drive and remove the tape, even if it is set to manual eject. Once you remove the tape the job completes.
