I have a feild office that currently has a fully expanded MICS with 6.0 software. I need to install another MICS on site and tie the two together. I installed one of the set ups back in 97, but that was a long time ago. I remember that I needed 2 DTI cards, 2 PRI keycodes, but do the DTI cards have to be in seperate 12X0 cabinets ? For some reason I think I had to have the DTI cards on both systems in 12X0 cabinets without any other cards in the cabinets.
Any thoughts ?

And if you plan on using centralized vm, make sure you've got mcdn codes for each ksu.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think both systems have to be 6.1 sw or newer. (for the mcdn codes)

well this is right out of 6.0 installation

MCDN trunk call features

The table below lists the MCDN features that are provided by

an SL-1 link with MCDN active (the keycode is installed). The

features affect call redirection and trunking functions, as

shown in the table below.

MCDN services (profiles 1, 2, 4)

If your system is part of a private network using PRI SL-1

lines, you can determine the MCDN features that will be

allowed by your system. These settings are described in detail

in the networking section of this book. Refer to MCDN trunk

call features on page 133.

i have a tip posted about this stuff
