Hi,

We'er expanding a local db to more users on the intranet. I'm to set this up and haven't done it before. I know I will have to set up work groups, permission levels, etc.

How do I split up the db so the data (tables) are on the data server and the forms are on the general server? How will I link the forms, reports, etc. to the tables and macros? Anyone know of a tutorial on this?

In option Tools you must have option Complement ? (Sorry my Access is in french version) in this option find Split Data Base save your data _Be (Back End) on server, after the Access will made the link table for you.

The best solution is keep all macro, form , query and module in the front end. only the table must be in the back end. This will reduce many traffic on your server.
