Can i Programatically disable the BACK button in the browser?

Thanks

The other day I wound up on a website by accident that would not let me out. When I hit the browser back I was redirected back to the page I was on. Isn't that the same as disabling the back button? Anyways, how is this done?

That is easy (making a page push you back) it is HTML stuff ie.

Put <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0,url='[page url]'> in the head ot an intermediate page and it will always push people to the page in th page url bit. You can get around it however by clicking back twice. -----------------------------------
