I,d like to restore a Windows Server 2003 for test on a different system. in this case the mac-adress of the network adapter will have changed of course. because DR uses mac adresses to assign ip adresses how can i recover a server to a diffrent system?

In my eperience with DR, changing the NIC card should not be a problem as long as there is not any special drivers that need to be loaded. If the MAC address that was saved cannot be found, I believe it assigns the IP addresses stored in the order that Windows setup reports the NIC cards.
