B2D Drive not appending

I use a couple B2D Drives, which I swap every other week.

I put the new one on yesterday, then last night it was backing up until like 8:30am this morning. Then something happend and the job canceled.

I came in and the disk wasnt reconignized in Explorer, so I turned it off and back on. Now it is, but it wont load the media and finish the job now. I have it set for 12 day overwrite, the last media lable it was working on was still appendable because it was not full (1gig is full it was like 65mb i think). So i thought it might be corrupted, i moved it to retired media and deleted it off the disk drive.

that did not help.

any ideas?

I ran the other one for a couple days, then I plugged the one in that didnt work, and it worked.

One thing I did notice is that it checks each Media Lable and sets a lock on it until it finds one that is appendable, or creates a new one if thier is room.
You can watch this in windows explorer in the folder that saves the media labels. Its nice trouble shooting.
