B179 VLAN ID

Does the VLAN ID have to be manually entered on a B179 conference phone? The phone is not automatically getting the VLAN ID. If i manually enter it, the phone will register. The rest of the J179 phones are automatically getting the VLAN ID. If I enable the VLAN and leave the VLAN ID blank the phone does not get the VLAN ID and will not register.

Usually it gets the VLAN ID through DHCP Option 242 or via LLDP.
