Hello!

We have a IP Office 11.x running with different H323/SIP deskphones running smoothly. However I am in vain setting up a B179 conference phone.

I can make calls using enbloc dialing (i.e. dial all digits before hitting the green button). However I would like the B179 to provide a secondary dial tone after pressing the access code "0", like the other deskphones. Certainly a global shortcode has been created which enables other deskphones to behave properly (0N -> Dial N).

I tried to trace the associated extension. It showed "Waiting for line" after the system accepted the digit 0 and the default timeout.

Appreciate if anyone can help. Thank you!

Why…enbloc will work better.

Have you tried pressing the GREEN BUTTON first before dialling ?

Will this not give you dial tone first.

Pressing the green button first will give a dial tone. What I want to achieve is to allow an user to press the green button, hear a dial tone, press "0", hear another dialtone, then enter the outside number.

It's the way most users used to make calls using their own deskphones.
