We are in an LAN of about 45 people. Some computers are able to send out the Out of Office assistant reply, while others do not send anything out. The rules wizards work fine, but with no OOO replies. And it's doesn't matter the software, Outlook 2002 will work on some and not on others, whereas Outlook 2000 we haven't found one it works on yet. It really varies.
We are running Exchange server 2000, and all the settings are set to send the replies fine. As I mentioned, it does work on some workstations, just not all. Has anyone seen this?

Just to make sure you realize--'cause some people don't--it'll only send ONE reply. If a person emails 3 times, it only send a reply the FIRST time.

That's all I got for ya.
Maybe you already knew it.

Yes, thank you, we knew that. Just wish it would send the one reply ;).

I don't know if this will make a difference, but is worth a try. Go to Tools, Rules Wizard, and select Options. Make sure that update Exchange server is set to Automatically, then give it a try.

Aiyo I gots the same problem y'all, just one user, It works sweet from my machine which has an identical software setup, but not from this guys. We're using win2k pro, outlook 2k and exchange 2k on a win2k server. the problem occurs whether I log on to the users machine or the teminal server (NT4SP6). My boss said he fixed it before with a registry hack or DLL file but can't remember it. any ideas out there.

I also have the same problem. With 2 users in a middle sized company. If I log into the PC and run OOF, it works. I have the user log on and it does not. It seems like it is the profile on the Excahnge Server. I still have not found a resoultion. I have used Detect & Repair. I have done an unistall & reinstall.

Has anyone found the soution? If so, please let me ASAP. My users are getting upset that it is not fixed.
