Hi

We are using business objects 6.1 accessing our Microsoft SQL 2000 Server.

We have come across a major problem where we can't access tables from different databases, but still on the same server! Yes, it does allow us to drag and drop them into the universe creator. But it does give us errors and is not stable....!

We have contacted business objects and they say we should create only one database and not have many. but this would make the SQL unmanageable...

IS THERE ANOTHER SOLUTION OUT THERE???

If it is ok, you can create views or link your dataprovider

Thanks Nimmy, that's exactly what we did and it's working well.

ie. create a new database on the SQL, just populated with views, pointing to the other database tables...

Cheers
