B-Exec has wrong file size

I set BE to BU a folder with several folders and files in it. Common, right? I have a 12gb tape drive. I use 12gb tapes. Windows 2000 Server reports the folder as being 10gb, yet when I run my BU it doesnt stop until the tape ends and prompts me for another tape. Is Windows wrong or is BE wrong?

Sounds like a compression issue, Are you using hardware or software compression?

hardware. Win2k reports the whole folder to contain right at 10gigs.
