I'm changing over our PRI from one vendor to SBC and I would like to know if we can have 1-D channel with two PRI'S.......right now we have 1-D channel for each PRI.
If this is possible what type of changes would I have to make for this to work.
We Have a G3V8

This is the note from SBC:
Important: Your order is for PRI trunk group involving multiple circuits
riding 1 Primary "D" which is called the NFAS feature. If at turn up it
is discovered that your PBX can't handle this feature and you need a
Primary "D" for each circuit the turn up will have to be terminated.

Can can add more b channels on the same D or 1 D channel. Use the 464 pack (either one) to do the signaling.

see below.

I don't have a 464 Card.....Can I use the 767E to do the same thing?

You must be running a G3I then?? I beleive you can use the same setup as above, but use your 767 packs. See this thread

I'm running a G3V8..... I have the 767E with 2 signaling groups. If I had 1 D-Channel would I have more than 1 signal group? I have 2 D-Channels with my current setup.

Here are my signal groups. What will I need to change to have 1 D-Channel for 2 T-1's?

G3 Version: V8 Maximum Ports: 1100

Group Number: 2

If you will look at the signaling group I posted above, I have 2 D channels. A primary and a secondary. You only need 1 but I have a backup in place. On your signaling group (either one), you should be able to add the trunk boards as mine are listed. I know their are some differances between the G3R and the G3I, but I am not sure what exactly they are. I have seen on here that others have a setup like yours using the 767 packs.

If you type in "newterm" from your terminal, it will display all the system info for you and may help determine if it is a R,I SI or what.

Let me know if you need more help with this.

I have done this. 2 PRI's, 1 D channel. You end up paying less money per month, becuae the D channel is usually a few hunder dollars per month and you also get 1 B extra channel to make outgoing calls. Not sure if you can do it with some boards vs. others. I would suggest that you order the 47 B + 1 D but not port any numbers. If it doesn't work, who cares, you didn't port any numbers so you only wasted some time. If it does, and the PRI's are up, then you can place an order to port your DID's. This will require 2 orders and 2 cutovers but this way better safe than sorry.

Thanks guys for all your help. We decided to go with the 2 D-Channel to have any exact duplicate of what we had with the other carrier; so we wont have to make any changes at all. We will just unplug the 1 T-1 and just plug in the other. I looked further into it and I had another Local PRI that was using the 1 D-Channel with multiple T's. I really appreciate your help on this.
