I found this awhile ago and it is just so handy, I thought I'd share it with the group.

The file is xlfdic01.zip or xlfdic01.xls.

You can use the link above or add either one of the file names to the end of the URL and download the file directly.

Its pretty darn awesome, make sure to enable macros on it. I've used it often. Don't always understand all of it but it sure is full of INFO!!!

Enjoy....

I posted this later yesterday and have seen that no one has commented. I just want to make sure that folks are seeing this, as it is an extremely good source for help with Functions in Excel. Its rather extensive with great examples.

Take care...

WOW!

This stuff is GREAT!!

someone had to have had way too much free time on their hands... but hey, i'm not complaining. I'm just glad there are people out there that do this sort of thing to help all of us out.

thanks for posting it for us [2thumbsup]

This one of the most helpful 'tip-sheets' I have ever seen for Excel. Well done and a big THANK YOU.

I downloaded it but it says the macros are disabled. How do I enable them?
Thanks,
jnix

Thank you, it all helps.

Chris

It worked yesterday.
It doesn't work today.
That's Windows!

jnix...

In Excel go to Tools > Macros > Security

If you did not get an option to enable the macros, your security is set to HIGH... change it to Medium, then FILE > EXIT to get the setting change to take effect.

Next time you open Excel and the file, you will be prompted with the option to Enable or Disable... choose Enable.

The link no longer works, does anyone know where to get the file as it sounds great?

Thanks

I tried clicking on the link but it can't be found. Can anyone share with me what this was about?

I just tried it and the file opens in WinZip. It is a worksheet with tabs for each function.

Very helpfull.

Peter is working on his site and it is down for a while, but Ron is hosting the file for him at the moment. I just tried the link to the file on Ron's site and it works fine.
