I have just reloaded our MAS 1.2 server with a fresh install and im having a little trouble setting up the LDAP integration. I know LDAP is working fine in the office because our spam filter is currently configured and working properly with LDAP. We are running AWC 3.6, after configuring the ldap settings, I cannot get a user to log in. I have taken a screen shot of the AWC ldap settings and my Active Directory layout to see if anyone can see anything out of the ordinary. The awc manual pretty much says after you have it configured, the user needs to log into awc 1 time, then the admin can edit his account. I am able to ping our domain controller from the awc server by dns name and the same goes from the DC to awc.

anyone see anything that I am configuring wrong here? anyone else have this much trouble getting this part to work?

anyone know the log file that would show ldap errors?

At first it sounded like a DNS problem and then I re-read your post.
Can a user actually get to the AWC web page?
If so and can't login, I wonder if it's a router issue?

You can't believe anything you read... unless of course it's this sentence.

Log into the shell (MAS) and see if you can ping prime.corp.allcom4.com.
If not replace it with the IP address of the domain controller (AD) in your LDAP settings.
Make sure you are using the FQDN and not the IP address of the MAS server to access AWC or it will through you out after login.
I had a similar problem on a prior install and it turned out that the DNS forwarder in the MAS was not doing it's job.
You can use this free application to verify LDAP Search Base etc.

ill try that out. all the ldap test buttons in nupoint seem to test ok but ill see where I get with this.
