'Away from desk' button

I set up a button on my receptionist's phone to toggle the Do Not Disturb flag. Without queuing this causes the hunt group to overflow immediately, which is great. With queuing, however, it has no effect.

Is there another option I can use to get an immediate overflow?

Either make a button (HG Enable) to login/out of that HG, or set overflow time to zero and let No Answer Time be the overflow timer.

There is a feature that can do it now but from a certain release (i forgot which version)

Then you should have this option on the group.
It is called overflow immediately.

I tried that, but call stays in queue. Looks like Do Not Disturb isn't considered being unavailable.

This seems to be a bug and i think you better search on the forum.
It had to do with going out of the group and then DND or something similar

It's designed like that. Avaya has their own opinion on how DND should be treated by the HG.

The two methodes mentioned above has worked for my customers, they usually go for the HG disable.
